About Us

The Warren-Clinton Counties Peer Support Team is a Critical Incident Stress Management (CISM) Peer Support Team operating under the Ohio Critical Incident Stress Management Network. Established on July 1, 2022, the team provides confidential peer support, crisis intervention, and wellness resources to first responders and their families throughout Warren and Clinton Counties.

Our multidisciplinary team includes trained professionals from law enforcement, fire service, EMS, communications, corrections, clinical mental health, and chaplaincy backgrounds. Together, we bring a unique understanding of the challenges faced by those who serve in public safety professions.

Our mission is to recognize and respond to the emotional and physical effects of both acute and cumulative stress experienced by first responders, agency personnel, and their family members. Through timely support, education, and intervention, we help individuals navigate difficult experiences and build resilience before stress becomes a crisis.

The team provides a range of services including one-on-one peer support, group interventions, critical incident response, family support, educational programs, follow-up care, and connections to additional resources when needed. By offering compassionate, confidential, and culturally competent support, we strive to reduce stigma, promote wellness, and ensure that no first responder has to face life's toughest moments alone.
